Klasmann Deilmann is the leading provider of horticulture substrate. His customers are professional gardeners throughout the whole world. At the location in Saterland-Sedelsberg Klasmann transfers 650,000 m3  of substrate annually. His business is characterized by a distinct seasonality. After supply by trucks and tippers the raw materials are mixed, wrapped and readied for dispatch in two open-air storages. viaLog was assigned,

• to develop a master plan for the factory premises, which is to intensify the utilization and optimize the incoming and outgoing traffic,
• to compile a master plan which will than detail a step-by-step plan optimizing the areas, the logistic- technology and -IT.
